2011 and the importance of being idle

2011 was easily one of the best years of my life so far, if not the best, and the biggest lessons it taught me were the importance of family and the importance of being idle.

I graduated from university in the summer of 2011 (ooh fancy! sounds so much better than June 2011 right?;p) and just like every other graduate I just couldn’t wait to start a job but…

Oh! Oh! anything but the word ‘but’, this can’t be good right?

WRONG! Despite being unemployed, 2011 was a ton of fun.

I travelled to Cambodia and saw Angkor Wat, fell in love with Japan, started learning Japanese, made some great friends, started blogging again (and I don’t plan to stop!) and burnt some bridges for the best.

All I want for 2012 is to be happy and I believe everything else will follow suit.

Have a great 2012!

2011: bonds formed, bridges burnt, relationships strengthened, lessons learnt

2012: Bring it on!
