Sigh… HELP!

Apart from the fact that I love Peanuts, the word sigh aptly summarizes a lot of emotions that I am currently experiencing.

For starters, as most of you will know, we are now in the last week of NaNoWriMo and I am still trying to hit 40000. When will I ever reach 50000? How many of you have reached 50000? What are your plans for the last week of NaNoWriMo? Do you think you will be able to finish it? Questions, questions, questions… Sigh.

Secondly, I downloaded korean actor Jang Keun Suk‘s official app and guess what? it’s mainly in Korean! horaaay! whoopdef***ingdo! Don’t you think this warrants another sigh? No? Oh and the app isn’t free:) Sigh.

Moreover, I honestly have no idea what I want in life at the moment and I am afraid that I won’t be able to accomplish all that I want. Action plans are fine and dandy but are of little value in real life (or at the moment for me at least).

Normal blog posts will resume shortly. Meanwhile let me know about your NaNoWriMo progress and tell me how do you guys deal with the ‘sigh’ moments in your life.

  1. You are making great progress. Me, not so much. My goal was to write every day and not get caught up in the 50K. I was off to a great start and then I kind of got caught up in the 50k. Then life happened and I’ve been on the go every single day and night for the last 3 weeks. I’ve logged zeroes nearly ever day ever since. I’m stuck at 16k. I hope to write more, but it might not happen.

I didn’t make my goal, but a lot happened anyway. For one, I’m very competitive and I came to terms faster than I thought that I wasn’t going to hit my goal. I also helped my kids with homework, conferences, driving my son to a conference and basketball practices. Helping friends. Critiquing other writer works. Sending in last year’s NaNo to a contest and other critique groups.

I love reading your updates. You can make that 50k!

    • Hey Julie!
Thank you for the encouragement! appreciate it:)
How do we send the NaNo writing for competitions? I am relatively new to all this and I would love to find out more! The book review you did recently was so wonderful! I am definitely going to get my hands on that book.

Wow you sure do have a lot on your plate right now! Good luck Julie, have a blessed weekend 🙂
